Pack of 4- A4988 Stepper Motor Driver
Sepcifications
- Simple step and direction control interface
- Five different step resolutions: full-step, half-step, quarter-step, eighth-step, and sixteenth-step
- Over-temperature thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and crossover-current protection
- Short-to-ground and shorted-load protection
This breakout board for Allegro’s A4988 micro stepping bipolar stepper engine driver highlights customizable current flow and limiting flow, over flow and flow and over-temperature assurance, and five distinctive micro step goals (down to 1/16-step). It works from 8 V to 35 V and can convey up to around 1 A for each stage without a heat sink or constrained wind stream (it is appraised for 2 A for each curl with adequate extra cooling). Adjustable current control lets you set the maximum current output with a potentiometer, which lets you use voltages above your stepper motor’s rated voltage to achieve higher step rates
